roles and marketing activities.

AMA Indy offers a variety of ways for you to get involved by volunteering with our chapter.

Volunteering is a members-only benefit and provides a great way to network with other marketing professionals, hone your skills, and contribute to the Indianapolis marketing community. We have a variety of opportunities and ways to get involved. Below we list a few current needs – and feel free to contact us with other ways you might be able to help out. Thanks in advance for your help.

Mentor Program

Committee Volunteers

AMA Indy is seeking experienced, high-level marketing leaders to serve as mentors in our marketing community.

We know your time is limited. That’s why our mentoring program is structured for meaningful, one-on-one interactions. You can choose to make yourself available for as many sessions as you like. Our minimum program requirements are:

  • Hold at least one in-person, one-on-one meeting with a mentee.

  • Be available by email for additional questions from your mentee for up to 30 days post-meeting.

  • Transition the mentee back to the AMA Committee leader if the mentee needs support beyond your time commitment.

All of our mentors will be featured in spotlights on AMA Indy’s social media platforms, and will be named to our AMA Indy Past President’s Mentoring Committee. This official Committee position can be posted to your resume and to LinkedIn.

To get started, contact Katie Gilmore, AMA Indy Past President’s Chair, katie.gilmore@dentons.com.
